Executive Director's Letter

                                      On a Positive Note….

As I’m sitting here writing this month’s article, I am soaking in the beautiful Southeastern
New Mexico sun through my office window, and I’m loving every minute of it. I am so
happy to see warmer days, longer nights and all the new life blooming.

I guess you could say we are doing our fair share of Spring cleaning around the Chamber.
You will soon see cleaner grounds. We are getting rid of some the yucky, dead bushes
that just collect garbage and are an eyesore for those traveling through our great city
and for our community members and businesses that invest in the Chamber. We are
dedicated to our mission in fostering community spirit and pride.

We have had a wonderful March, and I am so grateful to all that have participated or
Candace Purcella sponsored our events. Without each one of you, we would not be able to do the things
        EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
we do. My heart is full of gratitude for our community partners. We all work so hard
for the betterment of Roswell and sometimes it can go unnoticed and unappreciated. I’m here to let you know, its not!
Servant Leadership is and will probably be the hardest career one could possibly have. You are in position to serve the
people, and one knows that we are not going to make everyone happy; but when you do make those few happy and make
their lives better in some way, that’s the reward my friend! We have so many wonderful people striving every day to make
Roswell the great community we all know it is. I ask for each of you to stand up and get behind organizations, such as,
Mainstreet Roswell, Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce,
Chaves County Economic Development and of course your
Roswell Chamber of Commerce! With so many other great
partnering organizations, we can sure point you in the right
direction to help you, help us make Roswell Great!!

I am so blessed with the team here at the Chamber. They
all work so hard and diligently to provide the best customer
service possible to our members, travelers, and everyone in
between. I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work
behind the scenes day in and day out to make things run
smoothly and swiftly for all to see. Todd, Kristina, Nayeli and
Ryan you are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

The Roswell Chamber has some wonderful things coming up, so
