Greetings humans and all that walk the earth!

March was another spectacular month with a grand total of five hundred and
eighty-seven phone calls from members, non-members, and people wanting
to come visit Roswell. We had twelve local visitors, thirty out of town visitors
(some were from Kansas, Indiana, Minnesota, and Washington State), sent

out five relocation packets, four visitor packets (New York, Albuquerque, NM,
Kansas, and Rio Rancho, NM), and sent an informational packet out to a school
in Melrose, NM. March indeed was a busy month, with plenty of Ribbon Cuttings, meetings, an amazing
business after hours, and our Rise with Roswell Ag Breakfast!

Rise with Roswell this year went very well, Cerritos catered, and the Peterson Farm Brothers provided
a farming-themed twist on famous pop songs with over two-hundred people watching! Not only did the
Peterson Farm Brothers entertain, but they had a very good reason for the way that they entertained.
Their message was all about understanding others and to bridge that gap between the farmer and the
consumer. The reason that they made parodies of pop songs was to try and reach the people who wouldn’t

know too much about the Ag or Farm industry and to educate them about it through catchy music. It
provided great entertainment and a great message!
We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout and are
so happy that we were able to put this event on.

However, the month didn’t stop there, we had to
prepare for the Glenn Shepard Seminar which was
the very next day! The event went very well with
everyone from the RSVP arriving to hear what
Mr. Shepard had to say. The month then slowed

down from there and we closed the month with
a celebration of ten years of great service from
        Cerritos Mexican Kitchen!

This month was busy but went very well! We are all
looking forward to the upcoming months and events
        that they have to offer.

                                                   As always,

        to the chamber and Beyond!
